Adaptability

Changing the plan without losing the goal.

What it is

Adaptability is adjusting to new tools, new expectations, and surprises while still getting the work done.

Why it matters at work

Technology, customers, and markets change fast. AI alone has changed how many jobs work in just a few years. People who learn quickly and stay flexible stay valuable.

In the real world

Smart Dawgs started as computer repair. When customers began asking about AI, I added AI automation services, which meant learning a new field while running the old one.

The restoration app depends on a LiDAR scanner that not every iPhone has. Instead of shutting those users out, we adapted: phones without it can still enter rooms by hand.

My reflection

Strengths

  • Learning new tools quickly
  • Changing direction when the facts say to

Growth goals

  • Give a plan enough time before dropping it
  • Keep customers informed when my services change
